A fascinating insight into life in a coastal Irish town.
An honest, uplifting, heartwarming series, capturing the reality of life for young adults, their parents and grandparents as they agree to let cameras into their everyday lives. This is a series about community, family, important moments and decisions which dominate the lives of young people.
At the centre of the story is the seaside town of BRAY in County Wicklow. A town made up of working class and middle class communities, Bray offers rich potential to meet with and cast interesting young residents who talk openly about their hopes, dreams, careers, fears and opportunities for the future. With the backdrop of it’s Victorian seafront, overlooked by Bray head, we’ll focus in on the three youth centres, three secondary schools, the local League of Ireland football club, two boxing clubs, the amusing seafront community, the job center, the town council, the local newspaper and radio stations and Ardmore Studios. In Bray’s main street which, like in so many other Irish towns, is under pressure to survive, there is lots of talk about a much hailed Florentine Shopping Centre due to get built in the town.
